This event, which the 3rd time this year, offers a variety of programs including games, concert, experiences, farm parties, and fresh whole hop brewing. How about finding a new agricultural value through the hop crop, enjoying some different type of nice craft beers, and spending a 'summer vacation for adults' in the fresh green hop field after escaping from the routine for a while? Summary
With the hop harvest season approaching, it is a small-size festival where you can meet fresh hops, enjoy cold beer and musical performance, etc. Hop flowers bloom in the midsummer heat by enduring the severe winter. Let's get away from our busy daily life for a while and go healing to the hop farm.

'Uiseong Lager', a local beer representing Uiseong. It is a craft beer made with Uiseong hops, which makes it even more special. How about a cold drink at the place where the hops used in Uiseong lager are grown?

Changnyeong Upo Wetland, Mooya, the dog that protects the ibis. He serves craft coffee freshily roasted in the morning.

Hop Flower Class
You who resemble a flower, with hops
Gyuri Kim, a florist who went almost crazy for loving flowers. In Yecheon, Gyeongsangbuk-do, she is operating a flower farm called “Ccotdam”, offering flower classes and farm tour guidance to schools and government offices.
In this event, we set the program of selecting hop bines from the hop field and by person making 'hop wreath' with the florist. We hope many of you will participate.
Hops Game
The King of Picking Hops
‘The King of Picking Hops’ is a picking game in which the most number of hop cones attached to the hop bines within one minute.
It requires quick hand movements and the hawk eye to foresee the flower of the next target. The most common technique is 'sweep picking', The amount harvested in one minute is weighed with a scale, the winner will be decided.
The King of Stringing
‘The King of Strining’ is a game to hung the string on the a wire 3m above using a farming tool ‘sparrow’. Time limit : 5 minutes.
Accurately recognizing how to use sparrow tool and not making mistakes is the key point to victory. (Real hop cultivation is 5~6m poles, and the 3m stadium is specially set for play.)
The King of Drop the hop
‘The King of Drop the hop’ is a game where hop cones are thrown into a beer mug placed in front of them, and then quickly drink the beer up.
It is said that our ancestors floated willow leaves in water, but present time people enjoy the custom of replacing fresh hop cones in cold beer. The person who throws the hops the fastest and runs out of beer the fastest wins.
The King of Hop Statue Game
‘The King of Hop Statue Game’ is a game in which the tagger closes his eyes and shouts ‘Yellow Lupulin, Green Hop’ instead of 'Red light, green light' while the rest of the people go unnoticed and approach the tagger little by little.

When the tag looks back, the moving person drinks a penalty beer and is out of the game. Who is get to the finish line the fastest without being caught by tagger? The fastest 3 player will be winner.

Summary
One-day fresh hop brewing, participants make their own beer by picking fresh hops. This event is held only once every year during the hop harvesting season, and for those on a busy schedule, one day program is a concentrated version of Show Me the Hop group brewing event.

Program
Mashing & Boiling
Mashing is the process of making wort by crushing malt, and the wort serves as food for yeast and helps fermentation. After that, it goes through a filtration process and boils clean wort.
Harvest hops & crush
While the wort is boiling, the hops are harvested from the prepared hop bines, and the fresh hops are rapidly frozen and crushed so that the lupulin in the hops can be sufficiently released. Add the hops to the wort as appropriate for the boiling stage according to the recipe.
Chilling
Cool the boiled wort. The entire process of beer making must be clean, and more special care must be taken to avoid contamination after chilling. When the wort has cooled to a temperature suitable for yeast to live, add yeast and pray for the beer to ripen.

The history of hop farming in Korea began with beer. Hops, which began to be cultivated in North Korea at the end of the Korean War, were also grown in South Korea after Korean War 6.25, and in the 1980s, hop business hit the production record of 460 tons on dry basis. However, hops rapidly disappeared from this land due to complex reasons such as the industrial background of the 1990s and the weakness of saving of labor, and then domestic beer became entirely dependent on imported hops.
Korea has become a developed country through rapid economic growth. Could it be that we lost something precious while fast growing period of economy? I would like to talk about the hope of Korean agriculture, not just one crop, Hop. Hopeden, we, will inherit the baton of the Korean hop farming discontinued since 1990’.

A pretty craft beer workshop located in Uiseong, Gyeongbuk. During the day, it becomes a home brewing space for those who want to experience and learn beer brewing as a hobby, and in the evening it becomes a place for urban-rural exchanges to communicate with local residents. Ggeek beer company
Ggeek Beer Company consists of six professional brewers put their philosophy and passion for beer into delicious craft beer. Based on the year round beers 'Ggul Ggeok' and 'Smimm', they are working on the 'Monthly Ggeek Beer' project, which releases at least one new beer every month. Visit their owned pub Euljiro and try to enjoy draft beer and bottle beer.
Ggeek has the meaning of the onomatopoeic word "ggeek", the Chinese character "噄 (=drink) ggeek", and the English word "Geek" meaning beer geek.
Turmbräu
Turmbräu is born in Mühldorf, located east of Munich, Bavaria, Germany. It has been run by the Grätz family since 1907, when a great unity of local breweries large and small in the suburbs of Munich took place. However, in 1943, when Max Grätz, who had served in World War II, disappeared, the seat of the official heir to the family became vacant. Although the brewery has ceased to exist, the Graz family with a valuable family brand has maintained the brewery and brand.
